Monda...Err Tuesday post.

Yesterday I reworked an old pin set that I have had in my Etsy shop for a couple of years. (YEARS!)

New Sweet Scarlet
It has a new backing card, and a few tweaks to the pins. Sometimes I just get tired of seeing the old designs, or I get new ideas for them. I think this design is a bit more successful at showing off the pins than the last one.

Now that this is out of the way I can mindlessly produce items today while I ponder a nagging question that came to me last night. WHAT am I going to be for Halloweeeeeeeeen?? I should decide now so I can make a costume (and assume I will make some sort of costume for my dude too.) I have a widget with a Nightmare Before Christmas countdown that shows I only have 65 days to do this. Last years costume was a last minute job because the Halloween Party was last minute. But this year its going to be full on. I need to start a short list.

I am thinking seriously about this starting today, as I was presented with a Halloween bear first thing this morning. Plopped down in front of my groggy morning face in bed, a little zombie bear holding a pumpkin. The Halloween decorations are officially here.

Yes, this is my blonde (ok yellow) head, awaiting todays re-pinkening. And there was no way my face was going to be on camera today. Yellow hair + sleepy + no makeup = yikes. Maybe I should just go as "morning Tara with no makeup" for Halloween. Terrifying.

Gah! BLONDE! whee. Aw, you shoulda posted a full-on face pic. You woulda been my hero.

Hurray for Halloweeeeeen...!! It's right around the corner now. Better get in gear, woman! It'll be here before you know it :)

(yet, who am I to talk? I have the whole house to organize, and I haven't done ANYTHING!)

  2. I *might* try to leave it blonde next time. It went so light, and I think if I did an ash blonde over it it might be nice....Just for something different. Its already super pink again.

Since I missed your last party I have to funnel allll that energy into the next one!

I was talking about going blonde after this last red fiasco myself... and now that it's that orange-tan colour again, I'm considering it. But, professionally - just cause I'm certain if I do it, all my hair will fall out.

I'm not as daring as you though ;)

And yes... I expect triple your partyness for this one to make up for it :D

  4. i had to do a doubletake, i wondered who the blonde was :)

is that your natural colour? i think you had said it was before but i may be mistaken.

love the new backing card for your pin set. i agree it shows off the pins better.

oh, i wanted to mention that i brought back some old sweaters from saskatoon that i thought you could use for stuffed bats, etc. let me know if you'd like them. they're gap ones, wool, though i'm not sure what the percentage is. one's baby blue and the other is grey.

I'm jealous of your bright pink. I can only get crazy like that with my makeup. My mum would kill me if I had pink hair working in our bridal shop!
